My love wants to have her fortune read, and I know that she´s in a hurry.
Today I had a glorious day in Buenos Aires.
I went to this quaint little flea market in the French square.
It was all wonderfully bohemian with tons of hippie-esque knick-knacks.
Literally everything I saw was something that easily could've been sported by Anita Pallenberg in Performance.
After lusting after every little piece of merchandise, I walked by this crowd of gorgeous shirtless men and gypsy-like women who were walking across a tightrope and trapezing in the trees. A group of rowdy (and very drunk) musicians weren't far behind them. To the left of the circus crowd were stoners sitting in a circle passing around one of the gorgeously painted pipes that I saw for sale.
It was all so carefree and something that I had only pictured from lyrics of songs.
Once we get our apartment in Buenos Aires, my sister and I agreed that we would visit the flea market every weekend. Luckily, its all very nearby.
When we drove away from the flea market, I had mixed emotions. I was happy that I had found similar souls in a country I had just about become disenchanted with. But I was also sad. Sad because even though I felt a kinship with them, I still couldn't communicate with them.
Though, it is thrilling to consider that there are probably many bohemian meccas throughout the world. I cannot wait to see them all.

Wig out: No 1
Neil you fuckin' dick, I'm way better at blogging that I am at life, though mostly because I haven't blogged. That's about to change though, and I aim to become equally terrible at both.
I'm gonna try to find for the blog, on a semi-regular basis, video of people losing their cool, or wigging out, as it were.
I've been watching this one a lot over the past few weeks:
Highights include spin-around phone toss; apologizing for smoking a reporter in the face (0:54), who can then be seen leaving the room bleeding; using the phrase "Put that in your fuckin' pipe and smoke it!" (which needs to be used more, imho); and most importantly: it was his own office. What a guy!
Also,here's nice song:
Peter Richard - Walking in the Neon
There Neil, I posted. Now, put that in your fuckin' pipe and smoke it!

Beards
are amazi ng.
The other day, my mother and I drove past this homel ess man on this stree t.
I adore d him for the follo wing reaso ns:
a) His sign was not askin g for money , or any sort of assis tance . He simpl y state d " Jesus saves ."
b) He had a pheno menal beard .
My mothe r said, " He's sweet , but he needs a razor ."
To which I repli ed, "No! His beard is gorge ous."
And she said, " You' re into shit like that." I am!
A few famou s beard s:
We' re the Band and we have the coole st colle ction of beard s.
Up close and perso nal with the beard .
Robbi e Rober tson looki ng like a Beatl e, and of cours e rocki ng a beard .
Forever rocking the beard.
I must admit , David Gilmo ur does not even come close to the Band' s beard s. He just makes a bit of scruf f look sexy, and that in itsel f is a nice feat. ( Also, an amazi ng assor tment of tee shirt s, which of cours e you canno t see here.)
Georg e Harri son defin itely wins for man with the most inter estin g beard . My favor ite homel ess- looki ng defin itely - not- homel ess man to ever exist . Thoug h, his best solo work came from his pseud o- homel ess era. Maybe its a creat ive thing ?
In the early 70' s, Jimmy Page rocke d a mean beard . I just about find this beard sexy. All of Zeppe lin went throu gh a beard phase , but most ended up looki ng ridic ulous . Excep t John Bonha m.
Denni s Wilso n. Dennis went from being the babyfaced drummer of the Beach Boys, to underrated genius of a solo artist. During that time, he also grew himself a mighty beard.
Graha m Nash doesn 't look too bad with a beard eithe r. The 70's were a fabul ous time for beard s.
Jeff Lynne ! Damn, what a beard . ( Pictu red above with Del Shann on, who coinc ident ally took his own life not too far from where I grew up.) Not only does Jeff Lynne have a swell beard , he has staye d oh so faith ful to it. Like Garth Hudso n, he has hardl y been witho ut a beard . That is a man.
I'm sure I forgo t some real fine beard s, but I certainly covered a lot of ground.
DISCL AIMER : I am in no way encou ragin g any man (or boy) to grow a beard . You' ll proba bly look ridiculous . Do not think for a secon d you even compa re to the above menti oned.
P.S. Googl ing " Georg e Harri son beard " or " Jimmy Page beard " is reall y fun. Try it. Add beard to the end of a name. Prefe rably someo ne with a divin e beard .
The other
I adore
a) His sign was not askin
b) He had a pheno

wedding and honeymoon recap
Wedding Weekend Candid Pictures and Honeymoon pictures- click here
Hey everyone,
Well today is our first day in our new place! Shawn is at work and I have been spending the whole day writing thank you cards, uploading pictures, making phone calls and unpacking our wedding gifts. In case you missed it, the wedding was absolutely perfect. We could not have asked for more. Thank you to everyone who came and who helped in any way.
Thursday night was when everything really started- Most of the immediate family was in town by then and we all went out to eat at cafe express in The Woodlands. I finally got to meet Shawn's dad and Step-mother Jennifer and step siblings Matt and Caitie. It was a nice dinner and we went walking around Market Street for a while after that.
Friday morning all the girls and I went to the Pure Spa and Nail Salon to get pampered. After the salon we had a bridesmaids luncheon at Jasper's which was also a lingerie shower. The food was great and I got some great gifts. Friday night was the welcome/rehearsal dinner at The Marriott. It turned out so beautiful and it was so good to see everyone.
Saturday was of course the big day. The professional pictures should be in soon and I will of course post them on our website as soon as I get them.
Our honeymoon was a cruise to Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Cozumel. We were on the carnival conquest ship. I can not even describe how much fun we had. Just to give you an idea- some of our activities were swimming with the dolphins, snorkeling, hiking up a waterfall, a private beach cabana, kissing sting rays (haha) and a lot more.
I'm going to post some of my favorite honeymoon pictures here on the blog. If you want to see all the pictures just go to our website photo gallery.
Love,
Emily

BRING THE RAIN

Clocks got yanked back so I guess winter's here. Here on the west coast that means six months of grey skies and piss. Let's celebrate with a rain-related classic and the Beanie Mack hit that sampled it so well.
